Inhouse

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Inhouse (“Inhouse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your access to and use of the Inhouse website, app, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. The Service

Inhouse lets you create groups, organize and record matches, and track rankings and statistics using rating systems such as Elo and Glicko-2. We may update, add, or remove features from time to time. We provide the Service for personal, non-commercial enjoyment unless we have agreed otherwise with you in writing.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service, such as group names, match records, and profile information (“Your Content”). You grant Inhouse a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service, including making it visible to other members of the groups you join. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights necessary to share it.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to, and not to permit any third party to:

  • use the Service in violation of applicable law or the rights of others;
  • harass, abuse, impersonate, or harm other users, or submit content that is unlawful, hateful, or objectionable;
  • upload false, manipulated, or fraudulent match data intended to distort rankings;
  • attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or derive the source of the Service except where permitted by law;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or circumvent rate limits or security controls; or
  • interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

6. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if your use creates a legal or security risk, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.

7. Intellectual Property

Inhouse retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all underlying technology, software, and branding, except for Your Content. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or other intellectual property except as needed to use the Service as intended.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INHOUSE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT RATINGS WILL BE ACCURATE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INHOUSE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD $50. THESE LIMITATIONS DO NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Inhouse is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to resolve any dispute first by contacting us informally; if it cannot be resolved, the dispute will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
